Cup Of Kindness

Building community, through serving those in need in Ulverstone

History of Cup of Kindness

Started as a food van that went out into the community to provide food to the homeless

After the Covid shutdowns it became a weekly meal held here at the Anglican Church

At the end of 2022, volunteer numbers had decreased – but the need was still there!

in 2023, we shifted from something that Ulverstone Anglican ran, to being a partnership with the combined churches and the wider community of Ulverstone

What to expect on a Tuesday Evening

A community meal (normally 2 courses), made and freely available to those in need (guests are invited to donate $5 to cover costs, if able)

Currently we have approximately 20-35 guests each week

Most weeks guests are able to take left overs home for another meal

Made possible through the Tasmanian Community Food Relief Grants Program
